Case study 2
typical fog
Summary: The fog is an advection fog. Compared to 12 hours ago, there were warm and moist advection and because of theses, fog is occurred.
Summary: This case is the case of existing advection fog changes into advection-radiation fog.
Summary: There is small change in surface temperature, but there is big change in lower level temperature, so this fog is an advection fog.
Summary: It is a case of advection-radiation fog caused by the inflow of warm and humid air and radiation cooling during the night. And this radiation cooling had created inversion layer near the surface but it disappeared at the morning.
Summary: During the night, there was precipitation caused by stationary front and it increased humidity of surface air. And it helped the advection fog developed well.
Summary: This fog is advection fog mainly caused by warm and moist advection, but also frontal weather help the fog developing.
